Kickstart the new year with a practical and engaging workshop. These workshops are all themed around important awareness days and events taking place between January and March 2025, and will give your people the tools they need to prioritise their wellbeing and be at their best.

DRY JANUARY

CHANGING HOW WE SEE ADDICTION 

Every year, Alcohol Change UK runs its Dry January campaign and shines a light on alcohol addiction. And many of us have an unhealthy relationship with something — whether its alcohol, drugs, social media or food.

Often, we turn to these habits to numb ourselves or cope with stress or burnout. In this powerful workshop, I demonstrate how we can challenge stigma and create workplace environments where people feel safe to ask for support, drawing on my own personal experience of addiction. 

WORKSHOP OUTCOMES:

  • My personal story of addiction

  • Challenging stigmas, labels and unhealthy norms

  • The science behind addiction - why do we numb?

  • Trading short term comfort for long term dysfunction

TIME TO TALK DAY (6TH FEB)

HOW TO TALK ABOUT MENTAL HEALTH

We often shy away from talking about mental health in the workplace - for fear of judgement, stigma or simply not knowing what to say.  This can leave us feeling isolated, helpless and disconnected.  

​With Time to Talk day taking place on 6th February, this workshop explores how to normalise conversations around mental health and create safe spaces for people to open-up.

  • Understanding the full spectrum of mental health

  • Tools to discuss our mental health

  • Creating a safe space to talk about mental health

  • The power of vulnerability and empathy

  • Role modelling and sharing our stories

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY (8TH MARCH)

GENDER EQUALITY & WOMEN'S WELLBEING

The theme for International Women’s Day on 8th March is #AccelerateAction for gender equality - a worldwide call to acknowledge the strategies, resources and activity that positively impact women's advancement, and support and champion women in the workplace.

​In this uplifting workshop, I share stories and tools to help us all be better allies, create more inclusive workplaces and proactively push positive change for gender equality.

  • How to create a more inclusive workplace for everyone

  • 3 steps to drive positive change for gender equality

  • Practical tools to boost our wellbeing – especially as women

INTERNATIONAL DAY OF HAPPINESS (20TH MARCH)

FINDING JOY & INVESTING IN YOURSELF

To mark International Day of Happiness on 20th March, this workshop explores tools and techniques to help you find joy in the day to day, protect your mental health and feel motivated to take charge of your own happiness.

​​ In a world of constant demands, bad news stories and uncertainty, it’s an opportunity to reset and reflect on what you really need to boost your wellbeing. During the workshop you’ll have the opportunity to build your own ‘happiness boosting’ personal toolkit and action plan! ​ 

WORKSHOP OUTCOMES:

  • The joy inventory (explore what does and doesn’t give you joy)

  • Practical tools to boost your energy

  • Understanding your own values and passions

  • Protecting your peace

  • Mindfulness through creativity
